Why belong here
St. Joseph is a vibrant, bilingual Catholic community that makes it easy for both English- and Spanish-speaking families to worship together, with five Sunday Masses, daily Masses in both languages, and a Saturday bilingual Mass. The parish combines traditional Catholic devotion — it is one of the few local parishes that still has altar rails — with active ministries for every age: a TK–8 parish school, religious education and sacramental preparation, Knights of Columbus, prayer groups, an annual parish fiesta, Christmas Bazaar, Día de los Muertos celebration, and youth summer programs. Welcoming, family-friendly, and rooted in over a century of service to La Puente, it is a parish where newcomers can find both a deep liturgical life and a strong sense of community.
