About SJV
Fr. Jeff Dobbs, pastor since July 2023, was previously Director of Spiritual Formation at IHM Seminary. Fr. Tim Welch, ordained in 2025, is the first priest assigned to SJV. Deacon Steve Landsteiner, a lifelong parishioner, serves as Permanent Deacon and co-founder of Fairmont Area Catholic Radio. The parish also includes Lisa Hady (Finance Manager) and Diane Larson (Liturgy & Adult Faith Formation).
Ministries
The parish offers a wide range of ministries including Adoration, Women’s Bible Study, Knights of Columbus, Hope Café, and St. Vincent de Paul. Weekly Bible study meets Wednesdays at 12:10pm in Holy Family Hall. Adoration is available Sunday evening and daily Monday–Friday.

Worship & Services
Weekend Masses are held Saturday at 5:00pm and Sunday at 8:30am and 10:30am. Confessions are available Saturday at 3:45pm and Sunday at 7:45am and 9:30am. Adoration is available Sunday evening and daily Monday–Friday.
Staff & Leadership
The parish is led by Fr. Jeff Dobbs (Pastor), Fr. Tim Welch (Parochial Vicar), and Dcn. Steve Landsteiner (Permanent Deacon). Staff includes Lisa Hady (Finance Manager) and Diane Larson (Liturgy & Adult Faith Formation). The Finance Council and Pastoral Council provide guidance and support to the pastor.
