About the Pastor — Rev. Joseph Kalinowski
Rev. Joseph Kalinowski is a priest of the Diocese of Erie and a native of St. Julia Parish, Erie. He was ordained in 1979 and marked his 40th anniversary of priesthood in 2019. His ministry has included parish work in Sharon, West Middlesex, Oil City, East Brady, and Meadville, more than fourteen years as a chaplain with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army (1998–2012), and faculty appointments at three diocesan high schools: Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage), Elk County Catholic (St. Marys), and DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois). He currently serves as pastor of St. John Parish, Tidioute, with its secondary mission church of St. Anthony in Tionesta.
