Faith Formation & Religious Education

The parish offers a full range of faith formation opportunities for children and adults. Formation programs run each fall through spring with a summer break. Children's classes begin at age four and follow a family-oriented, Gospel-based curriculum centered on the Sunday liturgy.

Hispanic Ministry & Comunidad Carismática

Saint John has a vibrant Hispanic ministry coordinated by Paulita Matheny (Director of Religious Education, Pastoral Associate, and Hispanic Ministry Coordinator). The parish celebrates a weekly Spanish Mass and hosts a Spanish-language Charismatic Community with its own music ministry.

Saint John celebrates the full sacramental life of the Catholic Church, including Baptism, Confirmation, First Eucharist, Reconciliation, Marriage, and Anointing of the Sick. Sacramental preparation programs are available for children and adults through the Religious Education office.
