St. John the Baptist Parish is a small rural Catholic community in Cooks Valley, just outside Bloomer, Wisconsin, in the Chippewa Falls Deanery of the Diocese of La Crosse. Established in 1905, the parish has served generations of farm families and remains a close-knit, sacramental outpost in the countryside. It is especially known for its monthly First Friday Eucharistic adoration, which begins after the Thursday morning Mass and continues until the Friday morning Mass.
