History of St. John Neumann
The community gathered as a parish on February 1, 1978, and for its first seven years worshipped in borrowed spaces — St. John Wesley United Methodist Church, Welch Elementary School, the Pleasant Run Golf Course clubhouse, and a storefront in the Woodfox Center — until the dedication of its own church building on May 17, 1985. Major building milestones followed in 1999 (gathering-space renovation with a new baptismal font), February 2000 (construction of a parish pastoral center with staff offices, a youth room, and a music rehearsal room), and November 2000 (a nave renovation with new chairs, carpeting, lighting, and sound, with seating on all four sides of the altar).

Blessed Trinity Family of Parishes
On July 1, 2022, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati joined Corpus Christi Church, St. John Neumann Church, and St. John the Baptist Church into a single Family of Parishes known as the Blessed Trinity Family. The three parishes now work together in prayer and shared resources to radiate the love of Christ and form a strong community of evangelization and service centered on the Eucharist. Pastoral Area School
St. John Neumann has shared a consolidated Catholic elementary school with its sister parishes since 1980, first with St. Bartholomew and Corpus Christi, and from the 2008–2009 school year with St. John the Baptist of Dry Ridge and Corpus Christi under a single Pastoral Area School. This long-running collaboration is one of the longest such school partnerships in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Sacraments and Worship
Worship life at St. John Neumann centers on the Eucharist. The 1999 renovation of the gathering space added a baptismal font suitable for full immersion, signaling the parish's commitment to the Rite of Christian Initiation. The 2000 nave renovation created a flexible seating arrangement on all four sides of the altar, encouraging full, active participation in the Mass.

Facilities and Building History
The original church building was dedicated on May 17, 1985. In February 2000 the parish built a separate pastoral center containing staff offices, a youth room, a music rehearsal room, and a lower level reserved for future growth, freeing the older structure to be remodeled as a private residence for the pastor. The nave itself was refurbished in November 2000 with new chairs, carpeting, lighting, and sound.
