Groundbreaking ceremonies for St. Jerome Parish in Bowie took place on Sunday, May 19, 1985, followed by construction on a seven-acre site. The church was consecrated in 1985 by Bishop Joseph Patrick Delaney of the Diocese of Fort Worth, with Father Hennessey celebrating Mass. The parish was established to serve the Catholic community in Bowie, and today it continues to minister to about 40 families.
Faith Formation
Faith Formation is held every Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This program is designed to nurture the spiritual growth of parishioners of all ages.
Schedule
Mass is celebrated every Saturday at 5:00 PM. Adoration and Confession are held from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM every third Wednesday of the month.
