St. Isaac Jogues was a Catholic parish in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, part of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Founded in 1950 and dedicated on July 23 of that year, the parish served the Jefferson Hills community from its church at 1216 Collins Avenue for seven decades. As part of Bishop David Zubik's 'On Mission for The Church Alive!' initiative, St. Isaac Jogues merged with St. Benedict the Abbot Parish (Peters Township) and St. Francis of Assisi Parish (Finleyville) on July 1, 2020 to form the new St. John XXIII Parish. Its historic church building was officially closed by decree of Bishop William C. Eckman, with parish life now continued through St. John XXIII's two remaining worship sites in McMurray and Finleyville.

Parish History
St. Isaac Jogues Parish was founded in 1950 to meet the needs of the growing South Hills Catholic community and its church at 1216 Collins Avenue was dedicated on July 23, 1950. It served Jefferson Hills and the surrounding area as an independent parish of the Diocese of Pittsburgh for seventy years. Under Bishop David Zubik's 'On Mission for The Church Alive!' strategic-planning initiative, announced April 12, 2015, the diocese grouped the parish with St. Benedict the Abbot (Peters Township) and St. Francis of Assisi (Finleyville). On July 1, 2020 the three parishes merged into the new St. John XXIII Parish. Bishop Eckman later issued a formal decree closing the St. Isaac Jogues church building. The parish's sacramental records and community heritage are preserved within St. John XXIII Parish.

Patron Saint: St. Isaac Jogues
The parish was named for Isaac Jogues (1607–1646), the French Jesuit priest who evangelized among the Huron and Mohawk and was martyred at Auriesville, New York. He is one of the eight 'North American Martyrs' (the Canadian Martyrs) canonized by Pope Pius XI in 1930. His liturgical memorial is observed on October 19, and he is widely venerated as a patron of North America and of those who bring the Gospel to indigenous peoples.

The combined parish is served by a single clergy team, publishes a single bulletin, and shares faith-formation, music, and outreach programs. Parishes were merged on July 1, 2020; the closed St. Isaac Jogues church is no longer used for regular worship.

Outreach & Charity
The merged parish continues the South Hills tradition of Catholic charitable outreach. The flagship ministry is the St. John XXIII Interfaith Food Pantry, open for client shopping the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon, serving residents in need from Jefferson Hills, McMurray, Peters Township, Finleyville, and the surrounding South Hills communities. The food pantry operates as an ecumenical/ interfaith partnership with other local congregations.
