Liturgical Ministries
If you are interested in serving at Mass in one of the following ways, please call either parish office or send an email to [email protected]. Login to Ministry Scheduler > Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Women and men (18 years of age and older) are always needed to assist in the distribution of Holy Communion during all weekend Masses and liturgical celebrations. Lectors, Men, women, and high school students are invited to proclaim the Scriptures at all Masses. Training sessions are held frequently throughout the year. Altar Servers, All adult parishioners are invited to serve as acolytes for funerals, Sunday Masses, and Daily Masses. Adult Servers, All adult parishioners are invited to serve as acolytes for Masses of Christian Burial, Daily Masses and Holy Day Masses at both Saint Benedict’s and Our Lady of the Snows churches. Hospitality Ministers, Hospitality Ministers help create a culture and spirit of welcome and hospitality and are always needed. They help the liturgy to flow smoothly and hospitably by helping all find seats, arranging for presentation of gifts, distributing bulletins, and taking up collections. Hospitality Ministers are needed for all weekend Masses and Holy Days. Music Ministry, Our Music Ministry enriches our liturgical celebrations by leading the assembly as in sung prayer and praise. Through choirs, cantors, instrumentalists, and special concerts, this ministry enhances worship and helps deepen our communal prayer experience. All who feel called to share their musical gifts are welcome.
