Mass and Worship Schedule
St. Gabriel offers a full weekly schedule of Masses in both English and Spanish, with the Saturday Vigil at 4:00 PM, Sunday Masses at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM in English plus a 12:30 PM Mass in Spanish, and a Saturday evening Spanish Mass at 6:30 PM. Daily Mass is celebrated Monday through Friday at 9:00 AM in the Parish Annex Chapel, with an additional Wednesday evening Spanish Mass at 7:00 PM in the main church. Sunday Masses and special liturgies are livestreamed on the parish's Facebook page and YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.

Becoming Catholic — OCIA
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is for adults interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and journeying toward full initiation through Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. It includes prayer and worship, community, service, and faith learning. The parish welcomes adults who are unbaptized, baptized Catholic but uncatechized, or baptized in another religion. Programs are offered in both English and Spanish.

Liturgical Ministries
The parish runs a robust set of liturgical ministries coordinated by the Liturgy Committee, all focused on creating the best possible worship experience. Greeters, ushers, lectors, altar servers, sacristans, extraordinary ministers of holy communion, the environment team, and the music ministry all serve the community. The PROCLAIM Presentation Team prepares slides for each week's readings, prayers, and hymns, and operates the cameras that livestream the liturgy to Facebook and YouTube.

Faith Formation and Spanish Catechesis
In addition to OCIA, St. Gabriel offers ongoing Spanish-language catechesis for adults. Fr. Miguel leads 'Conozcamos la Santa Misa' on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, walking through the parts of the Mass from beginning to end. Children also receive sacramental preparation, with First Holy Communions celebrated each spring.

Creation Care and Community
St. Gabriel is a multicultural Roman Catholic congregation that engages in Creation Care inspired by Pope Francis's encyclical Laudato Si': On Care for Our Common Home. The parish has planted trees on its campus, installed cisterns in two different locations at the parish school, and developed a bioretention area and native plant gardens. The congregation partners with broader interfaith environmental efforts in the Chesapeake region.

Parish Staff and Clergy
The parish is served by a pastor and an associate pastor, with two deacons supporting OCIA and parish life. The Director of Liturgical Music leads the choirs, cantors, and musicians. Seminarians from the Archdiocese of Baltimore also spend pastoral years at the parish.
