St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orem, Utah, is the oldest and largest Catholic parish in Utah County, founded in 1892. It serves a bilingual community with English and Spanish Masses and is known for its commitment to being 'the Body of Christ.' The parish moved to its current location in Orem in 2000 and relocated into its permanent church building in 2012, which seats over 1000 worshippers. Our History

Founded in 1892 in Provo, UT, the parish moved to Orem in 2000. It worshipped in a gymnasium for 11 years before moving into its current church building in 2012. The new church was dedicated on February 19, 2012, with Bishop John C. Wester as principal celebrant.
