St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish serving Logan and surrounding communities in southern West Virginia's coal country, within the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. The parish was formed on June 18, 1996 through the merger of two older missions of Catholic faith in the region — Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Logan (established 1911) and St. Mary in Holden (1961) — and in 2017 the territory of St. Edmund Parish in Man was merged into St. Francis of Assisi as a chapel. Under the pastorship of Rev. Biju Paul Parampil, the parish welcomes worshippers at its church on Main Street, Logan, with a small but dedicated staff including a permanent deacon, pastoral associate, secretary, bookkeeper and director of religious education.

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Logan, WV is a parish of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, established June 18, 1996 by the incorporation of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (1911) and St. Mary, Holden (1961). On November 26, 2017 the territory of St. Edmund Parish in Man was merged into St. Francis of Assisi, with the former St. Edmund Church becoming a chapel within its territory. The parish carries more than a century of Catholic faith in Logan County's coal country.
