St. Elizabeth Ann Seton is a Roman Catholic parish in the Summerlin area of northwest Las Vegas, Nevada, belonging to the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. Founded in 1991 from a small group of 125 faithful in Sun City, it has grown into one of the larger parishes in the diocese with more than 5,000 registered families. The parish campus includes the main church, a Catholic elementary school (opened 2000), and the Mater Dei Adoration Chapel (built 2007), and offers a full sacramental and ministerial life from daily Mass to perpetual adoration, faith formation for all ages, a food pantry, and an on-site religious gift shop.

Our Story — From Sun City to 5,000 Families
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton traces its origin to 1991, when a small group of 125 faithful Catholics from Sun City Summerlin asked Bishop Daniel F. Walsh for a priest to celebrate Mass in their growing corner of northwest Las Vegas. Within a year the diocese had purchased land, moved modular trailers onto the site, and celebrated the first on-site Masses on the weekend of October 3–4, 1992. Bishop Walsh named Fr. Anthony T. Vercellone the first and founding pastor in 1993, and the parish grew so quickly that by 1995 — when Bishop Walsh formally dedicated the new church on June 19 — 2,450 families were already registered.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton offers formation tracks for children, youth, young adults, and adults. Children's Faith Formation (ages 3 through Grade 8) is led by Amy Melancon with coordinator Jessica Zwijac. Youth, Young Adult, and Family Life ministry is led by Maureen Sisto, with Cynthia Carrillo as Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School
The parish school opened in 2000 on an adjoining campus at 1807 Pueblo Vista Drive and has educated nearly 8,000 students since. The school serves grades K–8 under Principal Len Urso, M.A., M.Ed., with Assistant Principals Claudia Escobar and Rick Blanc. Recent capital projects added a state-of-the-art science room, an art room, and a music room, as well as additional atriums.

Human Concerns & Outreach
The Human Concerns Ministry carries out the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy through three pillars: food-based programs, charitable drives, and social justice advocacy. The parish operates a Food Pantry in cooperation with Three Square Food Bank for people and families in financial distress, with appointment lines in both English and Spanish.

Sacraments & Pastoral Care
The parish prepares parishioners for and celebrates the full range of Catholic sacraments. Baptisms for infants and children up to age 7 require a Baptism Preparation Class; weddings require a minimum six-month preparation period and a quarterly Marriage Inquiry Meeting. Anointing of the Sick is available at home, in hospitals, and care facilities, and the Funeral Ministry supports families through the death of a loved one, including pre-planning.
