History of the Parish
The parish story begins on October 7, 1972, with Father Leon's first Mass in the new Palm Coast community. ITT's Welcome Center and yacht club housed early worship, fundraising, and parish life. Bishop Tanner's 1976 division of the Flagler parish created St. Elizabeth Ann Seton as a distinct parish; ten acres on Belle Terre Parkway were purchased; groundbreaking came on September 3, 1978; the original sanctuary was completed on Mother's Day, May 13, 1979. The current church was dedicated January 22, 1994. Fr. Tom Cody was founding pastor (1977–1985); Fr. Caesar Russo was named second pastor in 1985.

Faith Formation & Religious Education
Faith formation at SEAS is directed by Katie Allio (Director of Religious Education) and runs programs for parish children and families, preparing them for the sacraments and ongoing discipleship. The parish also runs a School — Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School — whose principal is Barbara Kavanagh, sharing the campus with the parish church.

Youth Ministry (Grades 6–12)
SEAS Youth, directed by Jeremy Vest, runs two complementary programs: Life Teen for high-schoolers (grades 9–12) and EDGE for middle-schoolers (grades 6–8). The program's mission is 'Love God. Love Others. Make Disciples,' and its vision is 'bringing teens into a community that challenges and nourishes them in order that they might become disciples of Christ.' All teens — Catholic, other Christian, non-Christian, public school, private school, or homeschool — are welcomed.

Beyond the Mass schedule, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton nurtures devotional life through the Rosary Cenacles (fifteen decades of the rosary with prayers for the Holy Father, priests, the end of abortion, and world peace, followed by entrustment to the Immaculate Heart of Mary), the Order of Prayer for Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and ongoing Eucharistic Adoration in the Holy of Holies. The Health Ministry reaches out to parishioners and the wider community with services and events that enhance spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional well-being, working closely with Outreach and the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound. Service Times & Campus Notes
The parish campus at 4600 Belle Terre Parkway is currently undergoing construction; weekday Masses are being celebrated in Seton Hall until further notice. The parish also operates St. Stephen's Chapel at 2400 E. Highway 100, Bunnell, FL 32110, for additional Vigil and Sunday Masses. Confessions are heard in the chapel itself and are also available by appointment through the rectory office.

Founding pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (1979); born in Waterford, Ireland; ordained 1968 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Kilkenny; oversaw groundbreaking (1978) and dedication of original sanctuary on Mother's Day 1979. Moved to Resurrection Church, Jacksonville, in May 1985.
