St. Edward Parish in North Plains, Oregon, is a welcoming Catholic community that gathers in faith to worship, in hope to nurture spiritual growth through sacraments and catechesis, and in charity to serve through outreach. Founded in 1914 as a mission, the parish has grown from about 85 attendees to a family of approximately 250 households. The current church building was erected in 1965. The parish offers Mass, Adoration, Confession, and a variety of ministries and sacramental programs for all ages.

Parish History
St. Edward Parish was established in 1914 as a mission with about 85 attendees, serving a community of roughly 400 people in North Plains. In 1953, the parish received its first resident pastor. As the population and parish family grew, a new church was built in 1965, which remains the current parish church.
Sacraments
The parish offers preparation and celebration of Baptism, Confirmation, First Holy Communion, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Orders. Confirmation classes are held on Saturday evenings at St. Francis of Assisi Church, and First Communion is celebrated in April.
Ministries
Ministries include Religious Education for children, Youth Ministry for high school students, Sacramental Preparation, and Social Outreach. The parish also offers prayer ministry and fellowship opportunities.
