History
Located in Logan County, St. Edmund Parish, Man, was established in 1961. The property the church stands on was purchased through an anonymous bequest of $50,000 with the condition that the church be named St. Edmund. The church was completed in 1962. The church was a bustling hive of activity during its early years and the contributions of its first pastors helped the community to flourish. In the mid-1990s the decision was made to merge St. Mary's with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel to form the new parish of St. Francis of Assisi. St. Edmund's maintained its status as an independent parish until 2017, when it was reduced to an oratory of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Logan.
