Faith Formation & Religious Education
St. Dunstan's faith formation program is built around a 4-week monthly rotation designed to involve the whole family. The Grades 1–5 program combines in-person catechesis in Father Bannon Hall, an at-home family mission, a virtual Zoom meeting, and monthly Family Masses at 10:00 AM followed by fellowship and community missions.

Youth Programs: BLAZE & IGNITE
St. Dunstan runs two complementary middle-school youth formation programs: BLAZE for girls and IGNITE for boys, both rooted in Scripture, Church teaching, and prayer.
- BLAZE: Walking With Purpose ministry for teen/tween girls; counters cultural pressures on identity, worth, and beauty with the truth that each girl is God's chosen, beloved daughter.
- IGNITE: Beta-test program for tween/teen boys building a Christ-centered brotherhood through activity-based lessons on manhood, Scripture, Church teaching, and prayer.
Sacramental Preparation
St. Dunstan prepares children for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion through workbook assignments completed at home and a hands-on Prep Day at the parish. First Reconciliation is celebrated in second grade and First Holy Communion in third grade.

All volunteers who work with children and vulnerable persons must complete Archdiocese of Hartford Safe Environment requirements, including a background check, the Safe Environment Handbook acknowledgement, and online VIRTUS training through the National Catholic Risk Retention Group.
