Why belong here
St. Dominic offers the warmth of a medium-sized family parish (about 950 families) with the resources of a three-parish collaborative, the Sheboygan North Catholic Parishes. Its contemporary worship space, with fan-shaped seating and projected music, is welcoming and participatory, and the campus is the home of all faith formation classes for the north-side parishes and the busy Parish Activity Center (P.A.C.). Strong outreach — including Emmaus Meals, the on-site North Side Christian Food Pantry, the Laundry Love Ministry, a Ministry of Care to the Sick and Homebound, and seasonal projects like the Tree of Hope and Mitten Tree — gives parishioners many ways to serve their neighbors, while adult formation, OCIA, and Sacramental preparation support lifelong discipleship.

History
St. Dominic was formed in 1926 from Holy Name Parish; the church and school were dedicated in January 1928, with a convent added in 1936 to house seven Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi. After a new church was dedicated in 1966–67, the original sanctuary was remodeled into classrooms. In 2012 the school closed under the Archbishop's regionalization of north-side Catholic schools and the building became the Northside Catholic Faith Formation Center. Five years later, in 2017, St. Dominic joined Holy Name of Jesus and St. Clement as the Sheboygan North Catholic Parishes, sharing clergy and resources; the council voted in 2018 to remain joined.
