St. Cyprian Parish is a bilingual Catholic parish in Sunnyvale, California, in the Diocese of San Jose. The parish community worships in English and Spanish, celebrates daily Mass at 12:10 PM and Sunday Mass on Saturday evening and Sunday morning and midday, and runs an active adoration chapel. St. Cyprian welcomes both English- and Spanish-speaking Catholics in the heart of Sunnyvale, with two Sunday Masses (one in English, one in Spanish), a daily 12:10 PM Mass, and a spacious St. John Paul II Adoration Chapel open six days a week. Our Patron Saint: St. Cyprian of Carthage
The parish devotes a full page to its patron. Saint Cyprian of Carthage was born around 200 in Carthage, was raised without religion, and as an adult became a teacher and lawyer. Influenced by the priest Caecilian, he was baptized, gave his fortune to the poor, and was soon ordained and then consecrated bishop of Carthage against his will. During the Decian persecution (249+) he guided his flock from hiding through letters, helped bury the martyred, and ministered to plague victims. Later, in the Valerian persecution, he was condemned to beheading and answered the sentence with 'Thanks be to God.' He is honored jointly with Pope Cornelius on September 16. The parish concludes the page with a prayer asking Cyprian's intercession for mercy toward repentant sinners and steadfastness in faith.

Rev. Robain Lamba has served as pastor since July 1, 2024, when Bishop Oscar Cantú reassigned him from St. Francis of Assisi in San Jose. Deacon Robert Lasalle-Klein is assigned to St. Cyprian with a special focus on Pastoral Care for Hispanics, according to the diocesan clergy list. Sacraments
The parish publishes detailed pages for the principal sacraments. Baptism is offered without a fee on the third Sunday at the 10:00 AM or 11:30 AM Mass, or privately on the first Saturday at 10:00 AM; baptisms are not performed during Lent except for serious reasons. Parents and godparents attend a required preparation class — English on the second Wednesday at 7:00 PM, Spanish after the 1:00 PM Spanish Mass on the second Sunday. Funeral Liturgies are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM, and on weekends by arrangement, but never on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, or Holy Saturday.

Mass Intentions
Parishioners may request Mass intentions for the deceased, the sick, anniversaries, thanksgivings, or other intentions. The parish accepts up to twelve intentions per individual per year (no more than four in any single month) and applies a suggested $10 offering that is explicitly not required. Mass intentions are not scheduled for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the Easter Vigil, or All Souls' Day; the Sunday and Holy Day Misa Pro Populo is reserved for the parish faithful.

Pastoral Care and Outreach
Pastoral care is offered to the sick, those in hospital or nursing homes, and families who have lost a loved one. Parishioners are asked to call the office so the community can pray for them and arrange visits when possible.
