History & Pastoral Succession
St. Colette was established in 1977 with Fr. Thomas Montavon as founding pastor. He led the parish for thirty years until his retirement in 2007. Fr. William Krizner became the second pastor and during his tenure oversaw the creation of the Lily Ann Grace Gift Shop, named for his bearded collies, and authored the prayer found on the parish's St. Colette prayer card. Both Fr. Montavon and Fr. Krizner died in 2023 within eight months of each other, a loss the parish moved through together. Fr. Timothy W. Gareau, who had served 23 years as pastor of St. Raphael in Bay Village, became the parish's third pastor and was installed by Bishop Edward Malesic on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 7, 2024.

Parish School of Catholic Formation (PSCF)
PSCF is the parish's catechetical program, directed by Larry and Christine "Chris" Pizon, who have run the program since the 1984–85 school year. The current school year involves 13 teachers, 8 aides, and approximately 260 students in grades 1 through 8, using the Sadlier 'We Believe' textbook series. Grades 1–3 meet on Mondays 6:00–7:15 PM; grades 4–7 meet on Tuesdays 6:00–7:15 PM; and Confirmation preparation for grades 8 and 9 also meets on Tuesday evenings in the Atrium. First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion are received in second grade, and Confirmation is celebrated every even-numbered year.

Sunday School for Pre-School & Kindergarten
A free Sunday School for 4- and 5-year-olds runs during the 10:00 AM Mass in the Lower Hall of the church. The program uses the 'Image of God' / 'Who Am I' series — a Catholic curriculum rooted in St. John Paul II's theology of the human person. It is taught by Aileen Armstrong, a Master Certified Catechist teaching since 1989, with assistant Shirley Sheets (since 2012). The 2026–27 program begins September 27, 2026, and runs through April 25, 2027, with breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

Confirmation Preparation
Youth Confirmation is a two-year process for baptized Catholic 8th and 9th graders who are actively participating in Faith Formation. Sessions are held on Tuesday evenings through PSCF. Adults who are baptized Catholic but not yet confirmed may contact Pastoral Associate Lisa Radey to learn about the Adult Confirmation Formation Process.

Music Ministry & Parish Life
Music Ministry at St. Colette is led by Nicole Rongone, who also directs Parish Life programming. The ministry supports the sung prayer of all seven weekly Masses and the parish's seasonal devotions, including the XLT Praise and Worship evenings.

Lily Ann Grace Gift Shop
The Lily Ann Grace Gift Shop, located on the south side of the parish office building, was one of the dreams of second pastor Fr. William Krizner. It is named after his bearded collies — Lily (2008–2021), Gracie, and Annie (born Valentine's Day 2021). The shop carries Catholic, Christian, and inspirational items for baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, marriage, memorial/remembrance, and military occasions, along with saint statues, saint medals, rosaries, prayer cards, and seasonal gifts. The shop is the parish's exclusive source for St. Colette items, including a prayer card with a prayer by Fr. Krizner, a black-and-brown rosary made by parishioner Nancy Joswick featuring a St. Colette medal, and a statue specially made in France for the Poor Clare Colettine Sisters, with profits going directly to the Poor Clares in Cleveland.

Facilities & Grounds
St. Colette's 22-acre property includes the Gate of Heaven Shrine and a private Mary Chapel available for personal prayer. The church building itself is kept open for private prayer throughout the week during parish office hours, and the parish offices and gift shop share the same building. The grounds and facilities are cared for by Facility Manager Kyle Hutzel and the Building & Grounds team.
