Welcome to St. Clement of Rome Parish

St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, located in Sun City, Arizona, describes itself as a welcoming, praying, and evangelizing community. The parish welcomes both longtime area residents and visitors to join in celebrating the Holy Mass. The church sits on Del Webb Boulevard in the heart of Sun City and is part of the Diocese of Phoenix.

Clergy and Parish Staff

The parish is led by Pastor Rev. Fr. Greg Menegay, with Rev. Fr. Ishaya Samaila serving as Parochial Vicar. Three deacons — Rev. Mr. Patrick Thielen, Rev. Mr. Lee Beatrice (retired), and Rev. Mr. Stan Giza (retired) — assist with parish life. The staff team is headed by Director of Parish Operations Marleen McMahon and includes a Director of Sacred Music & Liturgy (Roy Spicer), executive and administrative assistants, a receptionist, and a maintenance coordinator.

Parish Ministries and Outreach

St. Clement of Rome supports several active ministries. The St. Vincent de Paul Society meets regularly to coordinate charitable works. The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary hosts community events such as bake sales. The parish also partners with Vitalant to host community blood drives.

Sacraments

Beyond the regular Mass, Confession, and Adoration schedule, the parish provides 24-hour access to Anointing of the Sick / Last Rites by calling the parish office. The Eucharistic celebration is the center of parish life, supported by daily Adoration.
