History

The first Mass in the Calhoun area was held in 1949 in a log cabin. By 1958, five families gathered in a former radio station building. Ground was broken for the current church in 1969, with the first Mass in the new building on December 7, 1969, attended by 15 families. The parish was officially recognized as a full parish in 1984. It has undergone renovations and expansions to better serve its growing community, which now includes Anglo, African American, Asian, and Hispanic families.

St. Clement’s offers a variety of ministries including Religious Education, Youth Ministry, and St. Vincent De Paul. These ministries are designed to serve the spiritual, educational, and charitable needs of the parish community.

Faith Formation
