St. Clement is a Roman Catholic parish in the Lansdowne neighborhood of southwest Baltimore, Maryland, part of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The parish was founded in 1891 (originally as a mission of St. Jerome Parish) and is now in pastorate with neighboring St. Philip Neri Parish in Linthicum Heights, a partnership formed in 2021. The worship community celebrates Mass in both English and Spanish, serves a long-standing Lansdowne neighborhood that has welcomed generations of families, and continues to be a gathering place of faith, worship, and service for longtime residents and newer Hispanic parishioners alike.

History
Catholic life in Lansdowne goes back to the colonial era as a farming community, with the parish itself formally established in 1891 as a mission of St. Jerome Parish in Baltimore. By 1895 it had its first buildings and its first pastor, Father Michael Sullivan. Over more than 130 years, the parish has weathered fires, lost records, a KKK visit, and the deaths of several pastors, while steadily growing — most notably under Father Cornelius Byrnes, who served 18 years. Two special vocations from St. Clement are Father Walter McGovern of the Archdiocese of Baltimore and Sister Ann Phelan of the Sisters of Providence. In 2021 the parish joined with St. Philip Neri to form the current pastorate, and the parish celebrated its 125th anniversary with Archbishop William E. Lori.

Sacraments
The pastorate prepares parishioners for all seven sacraments. Sacramental preparation is parish-based, and families must be registered members of St. Philip Neri or St. Clement before enrolling children in First Confession, First Communion, or Confirmation programs. Adult initiation is offered through OCIA (the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults).

Faith Formation & Religious Education
Religious Education classes for Grades 1–8 are held on Sunday mornings from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm, September through June. Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion requires one year of prior faith formation. RCIA Talks are offered for adults inquiring about the Catholic faith.

Youth & Young Adult Ministry
Youth Group Ministry serves middle school and high school students, with a Young Adult ministry for ages 18–30. The focus is helping young people grow as disciples of Jesus through prayer, study of God's Word, service, and fellowship — gathering for Youth and Young Adult Masses followed by food and discussion.

Sisters Academy of Baltimore
Founded in 2004 and housed since 2006 in the renovated former St. Clement School building at 139 First Avenue in Lansdowne, Sisters Academy of Baltimore is an independent, faith-based middle school for girls in grades 5–8. The school has an 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio and provides 100% scholarships to every student, supported by private donors and four founding religious congregations. Students attend Mass one Friday each month at St. Clement Church, continuing a deep connection between the parish and the Academy.
