Why belong here

Saint Christopher is a welcoming, bilingual Roman Catholic community where the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist is at the heart of prayer, ministry, and parish life. Parishioners can worship in English at most Masses and in Vietnamese at the 3:00 pm Sunday Mass, with daily Mass Monday–Thursday and a Saturday Vigil offering regular access to the sacraments. The parish invests in the next generation through its Family Faith (Christ In Us) formation program, Vacation Bible School, and its affiliated Catholic school, Saint Christopher Academy (Pre-K through Grade 8). Liturgical ministries — Readers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Altar Servers, and Ushers — as well as Communion for the homebound give parishioners concrete ways to serve one another.

Parish History

Shortly after World War II, the people of St. Patrick's Parish foresaw the need for a new parish in the north of Nashua. On July 21, 1950, Most Rev. Matthew F. Brady, Bishop of the Diocese of Manchester, formally established St. Christopher Parish. In 2000, the parish celebrated its 50th anniversary with an Anniversary Mass offered by Bishop John McCormack together with the parish's living former pastors. Today the parish campus includes the church itself and the adjacent historic mid-1800s grey house that holds the parish office and rectory.
