Getting to St. Cecilia
St. Cecilia is located in Mount Vernon, a small historic town on the Mobile River in south-central Mobile County. The parish sits along Old Military Road, a corridor that follows the route of the historic Federal Road and the old military supply line that once connected Fort Stoddert and the Mount Vernon Arsenal. From Mobile, the most common route is U.S. Highway 43 north to Mount Vernon, then west onto Old Mt. Vernon Road at the central traffic light; the church will be on the right side of the road.
