About

St. Catherine of Siena Parish is a welcoming and empowering community built on faith and centered around the celebration of the Eucharist, hearing and responding to the voices around us, and providing for all spiritual and material needs as graciously as we can. We pray that our patron, Saint Catherine of Siena, will intercede for and assist us in fulfilling our mission.

History

St. Catherine of Siena Parish is a newly formed parish, combining the people of St. Maria Goretti Parish and St. Vincent de Paul Parish in July 2014. Our parish’s church is St. Vincent de Paul, Bay City. We strive to be a hospitable and inviting parish, welcoming the elderly and those with mobility issues. Our parish is easily accessible to those with special needs, with ramps at both front entrances of the church and to the parish center. Young families are important to us. We support parents in teaching faith and morals to their children. We use modern technology to help keep families connected to parish life. We continue to develop our Commissions to maintain a dynamic and viable parish, offering many opportunities for stewardship and spiritual growth for people of all ages. Through the liturgy and the sharing of God given gifts, ministry, prayer and devotion we work to build the Kingdom of God. We welcome new parishioners and people to the Catholic faith. We welcome you.
