About Our Parish
St. Bridget of Kildare Parish is a Roman Catholic church in Parma, Ohio, made up of approximately 1,675 parishioners, and named after our patroness, Bridget of Kildare, from Ireland. We are dedicated to the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, prayer and worship, sacramental life, sharing the Gospel, education, and supporting each other and our community through our many vibrant ministries and parish groups.
Sacraments
The whole liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the sacraments. While we believe that human life is infused with the sacramental goodness of God, the Catholic Church has defined seven sacraments - instituted by and through the life of Jesus Christ. It is through the experience of the sacramental ritual that we are infused with God’s grace. The Sacraments nourish and strengthen us as they express and build up our faith.
