Neocatechumenal Way
The Neocatechumenal Way is a central part of parish life at St. Bernardine of Siena. Each year, at the invitation of the pastor, the parish offers a series of talks or catechesis that launches a journey to rediscover the treasures of baptism through an ongoing process within the parish. The Way is described as a catechetical–liturgical process of Christian Initiation that puts into practice, at a parish level, the renewal of the Second Vatican Council — tailoring the stages of Christian Initiation to baptized adults and functioning as effective preparation for the unbaptized. Members gather regularly for catechesis, small-group meetings, and joyful liturgies, growing in faith together as families, young people, and individuals.
