St. Bernard Parish is a Roman Catholic parish in Green Bay, Wisconsin, belonging to the Diocese of Green Bay. About St. Bernard Parish
St. Bernard Parish is a Roman Catholic parish on Green Bay's east side, founded in 1956 and named for St. Bernard of Clairvaux (feast day August 20). Vision and History
St. Bernard Parish was established on July 12, 1956. Today it gathers as a community through Mass celebrations, numerous outreach opportunities, a Catholic grammar school, adult education offerings, and a growing youth ministry. Fr. Adam Bradley has been pastor since July 1, 2023.

Sacraments
St. Bernard celebrates the seven sacraments through scheduled programs. Baptism is celebrated during or after a weekend Mass and arranged through Deacon Bernie Terrien. First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion are prepared for in 2nd grade; questions go to Jeannine Hadzima. Confirmation is prepared in 10th grade with faith formation classes (NDA students are exempt) and an all-day retreat; adults seeking Confirmation are directed to OCIA. Confessions are heard Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings.

Faith Formation (Grades 1-11)
Youth Faith Formation at St. Bernard serves grades 1 through 11, with classes meeting on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:15 PM. The program includes preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in 2nd grade and Confirmation in 10th grade. Tuition is $110 per child before August 1 (discounted) and $130 per child after; sacrament fees are $60 each for First Sacraments and Confirmation prep. Financial assistance is available.

Youth Ministry
The parish Youth Ministry, led by Gabriel Ogle, provides ongoing faith and fellowship opportunities for the parish's middle and high school students. All youth are encouraged to consider becoming altar servers (open to any 5th grade student or older who is a member of St. Bernard Parish).

St. Vincent de Paul Conference
St. Bernard's own conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul serves neighbors in need within parish boundaries, continuing the mission begun by Blessed Frederic Ozanam and Blessed Roselie Rendu. Two Vincentians visit homes in Christ-like compassion to discern and meet needs. The broader St. Vincent de Paul organization supports poverty education, life-skills training, workforce scholarships, re-entry support, and direct assistance with housing, clothing, basic necessities, and transportation.
St. Bernard Catholic School
St. Bernard Catholic School (2020 Hillside Lane) is a PK3-8 Catholic school within the Green Bay Area Catholic Education (GRACE) system. Its motto is 'Peace * Pray * Learn.' Students attend Mass together each Friday at 8:45 AM and are paired with buddies across grades to build community. The school emphasizes school-wide service projects. Principal David Gusloff and Assistant Principal Brittany Dudzik lead the school, and families are encouraged to participate in parish life through an annual parish commitment letter.

OCIA — Becoming Catholic
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (formerly RCIA) at St. Bernard welcomes adults who have never been baptized, adults baptized in another Christian tradition, and Catholic adults who have not received First Eucharist and/or Confirmation. The ministry encourages and supports those seeking to live as Catholic Christians. Contact Coordinator Kathy DeNoble at the parish office.
Music and Liturgy
Music and liturgy at St. Bernard is coordinated by Joe LeBeau, supporting weekend and weekday Masses as well as special celebrations. The parish invites parishioners to lead the Rosary 25 minutes before each weekend Mass through a sign-up.
