St. Benedict operates its Religious Education program in partnership with nearby St. Pius parish. The shared St. Pius and St. Benedict Faith Communities Education Commission pledges to provide youth with the guidance and instruction needed on their faith journey, working in partnership with parents and the parish community to bring all to the fullness of life within the Church.

Annual Parish Picnic & Car Show

Each summer the parish hosts its signature Annual Parish Picnic & Car Show, a family-friendly day featuring brats, burgers, Filipino specialties, homemade Booyah, a Pie & Dessert Stand, cold beer on tap, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, kids' games and face painting, a live band (Fire on High), and a community Car Show with a Best of Show trophy. Held on the parish grounds at 3370 Deerfield Lane in Suamico, the picnic welcomes parishioners and the wider community.

History & Building

St. Benedict Catholic Church was built in 1956, as documented by a cornerstone on the building recorded by the Wisconsin Historical Society. The original structure is a brick Romanesque Revival-style house of worship featuring a small rose window in the gable end above the entrance vestibule. Between 2002 and 2003 the parish completed an 8,000-square-foot addition on the north side of the building, providing expanded space for worship, fellowship, and parish ministries. The parish continues to be documented in the Diocese of Green Bay's official newspaper, The Compass.
