Parish History
In the summer of 1859, a meeting at St. Boniface led to the founding of St. Anthony’s. The first Mass was held on December 6, 1859, in a log church. The current church was consecrated on June 13, 1870. The original church was replaced in 1983, and the new church was dedicated in 1984. In 2007, St. Anthony of Padua Parish merged with St. Dominic Parish.
Sacraments
The parish offers all seven sacraments as outlined in the Catechism of the Catholic Church: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Marriage. Sacramental preparation is available for children and adults.
Parish Staff
Rev. Thomas Donovan is the pastor. Deacon Harry Cramer and Hope Glidewell, DRE, serve as clergy. The parish office is staffed by Mrs. Janet Bick, Mrs. Tawny Benz, and Mrs. Karen Drotar.
