History of St. Anne Parish
St. Anne began as a mission chapel in 1953, built on land donated by Russel Tullier and dedicated under the pastorship of Father August Wysoff of Holy Rosary Parish, St. Amant. On March 31, 1962, the mission was transferred to St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Darrow; later that year it was elevated to parish status with Father Louis Persac as its first pastor, who was officially installed on Sunday, August 18, 1963. Under Father Persac a modern brick rectory was added in 1970. In February 1978, just after a fresh coat of paint, the original church was destroyed by fire, and the present brick structure was dedicated by Bishop Joseph Sullivan on October 21, 1979.

Since July 1995, St. Anne has been clustered with St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Darrow, a small parish of roughly 145 families along Highway 22 (Darrow-Sorrento Road). The two parishes share one pastor and one deacon assistant, allowing each community to keep its own identity while pooling pastoral resources.
