History
St. Anne Parish traces its roots to 1848, when 25 immigrant families established a Catholic community in Francis Creek. Father Joseph Brenner organized the parish and also founded neighboring parishes. The first church was erected in 1851 near the present cemetery, and the current church building was completed in 1872. The parish marked its 175th anniversary in 2023.
