History of St. Anne

The Catholic community in Forks existed for some time before a permanent church building was constructed. After an appropriate site was chosen, the parish was formally established, with Father James Deady as its first pastor. The parish later grew into a small but devoted community serving the people of the western Olympic Peninsula. In 2024, under Archbishop Paul D. Etienne's Partners in the Gospel pastoral planning process, St. Anne was grouped into a multi-parish family with neighboring Catholic communities, with the goal of forming one new canonical parish over three years.
