History

The parish has been part of a Tri-Parish community since at least 1985, when St. Joseph’s and St. Patrick’s parishes were combined. The Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild organizations have played a vital role since the 1980s, organizing events like the Parish Family Picnic (first held July 27, 1980) and the Polka Mass (introduced in 1982). The Polka Mass, featuring music by the Cathy Erickson Band until 2023, remains a beloved tradition.
