Faith Formation & Religious Education

St. Ann's Religious Education program serves children from Pre-K through 8th grade, with a fall calendar that typically begins in mid-September. The parish also offers a 'Come and See' series of simple suppers and inquiry sessions running from September through November, OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) for adults preparing to enter the Church, multi-year Confirmation preparation, an annual Vacation Bible School, and Sacramental Preparation for First Communion and other sacraments.

Sacraments

St. Ann celebrates the seven sacraments according to the norms of the Diocese of Kalamazoo. Baptisms are typically celebrated on the first Sunday of the month, with preparation required for parents. Marriages require contacting Fr. Adams at least six months in advance for an appointment. Reconciliation is offered on a published weekly schedule plus by appointment. First Communion, Confirmation, and pastoral anointing are arranged through the parish office.
