Parish History & Founding
St. Andrew Parish was established in 1999 to serve the growing Catholic population in southern Martin County. It was carved from the boundaries of St. Joseph Parish in Stuart, the mother Catholic church of the area, which was founded in 1916. St. Joseph's parish history page lists St. Andrew as the newest of the parishes that grew out of its territory, following St. Christopher (1952), St. Jude (1962), St. Lucie (1965), Holy Cross (1967), St. Martin de Porres (1973), and Holy Redeemer (1983).

Faith Formation & Religious Education (CCD)
The parish's CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) program offers religious education for children in grades 1 through 9, plus the OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children) program. Registration packets are distributed each fall and require supporting sacramental records (Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion) for new students. The Director of Religious Education is Mrs. Donna Hernandez.

OCIA — Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
OCIA (formerly RCIA) is the parish's process for adults who wish to become Catholic or complete their initiation into the Church. It is directed by Deacon Andre Boucher and his wife Lisa. Sessions are held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The process welcomes the unbaptized, those baptized in another Christian denomination who wish to enter into full communion, baptized Catholics seeking Confirmation and Eucharist, and any adult who simply wants to learn more about the Catholic faith.

Music Ministry & Evangelization Band 'Called'
Music and evangelization are central to parish life at St. Andrew. The music ministry at Mass is complemented by the band 'Called,' formed by Deacon Andre Boucher with parishioner Heather Sharp (guitar and vocals) and Paul Marcucci (percussion and keyboards). The band performs liturgical and contemporary Christian music and has reached a worldwide audience through its recordings and social media presence. Called has performed the Way of the Cross with song at the parish lake on Good Friday.

Sacraments & Marriage Preparation
The parish prepares couples, families, and individuals for the full sacramental life of the Church. Marriage preparation is coordinated through Deacon Louie Romero; annulments are assisted by John Ginnetti. Parents seeking Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, and Anointing of the Sick are encouraged to call the parish office. OCIA offers adult initiation, while CCD offers age-appropriate preparation for children.

Parish Grounds, Holy Family Walkway & Outdoor Devotions
The 2100 SE Cove Road campus is known for its peaceful pond and walking paths that parishioners use for outdoor prayer. The Holy Family Walkway is the site of the Saturday evening rosary, and the lakeside area is used for Stations of the Cross on Good Friday and other seasonal devotions.
