St. Andrew Dung-Lac (Cộng Đoàn Công Giáo Thánh Anrê Dũng-Lạc) is a Vietnamese Catholic mission parish in Aloha, Oregon, part of the Southeast Asian Vicariate centered at Our Lady of La Vang Parish in Happy Valley. Located at 7390 SW Grabhorn Road in the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon, the community celebrates Mass in Vietnamese and serves as a spiritual home for Vietnamese Catholic families on the west side of the Portland metro area. The parish is staffed by priests of the Society of the Divine Word (SDD) and is supported by the Lovers of the Holy Cross Sisters of Beaverton.

St. Andrew Dung-Lac is a close-knit Vietnamese Catholic mission where Sunday Mass is celebrated in the language and rhythm of the community, with a dedicated youth Mass and faithful liturgies for solemnities and holy days of obligation. The parish supports the whole life of the family — a Vietnamese-language catechism school on Sundays, a Eucharistic Youth group, ministries to the sick with home visits and Anointing, and weekly Confession, Eucharistic Adoration and communal prayer. Our Identity and Patron Saint
The community takes its name from St. Andrew Dũng-Lạc (Anrê Trần An Dũng-Lạc), a Vietnamese diocesan priest born c. 1795 in Bắc Ninh and beheaded in Hanoi on December 21, 1839 during the persecutions of Emperor Minh Mạng. He was beatified by Pope Leo XIII in 1900 and canonized by Pope John Paul II on June 19, 1988, together with 116 companions — 117 Vietnamese Martyrs in total, including 96 Vietnamese, 11 Spanish Dominicans and 10 French missionaries of the Paris Foreign Missions Society. Their shared memorial in the General Roman Calendar is November 24.

Roots in the Vietnamese Catholic Community of Oregon
The mission belongs to the Southeast Asian Vicariate of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon, whose mother parish is Our Lady of La Vang in Happy Valley. The Vicariate traces back to the summer of 1975, when Vietnamese refugee families — more than 500 families in all, about 200 of them Catholic — arrived in Oregon after the fall of Saigon. Father Minh Cao gathered the first Catholics for Mass in Room 83 of the Halsey Square apartments in Northeast Portland, then they were given temporary shared use of St. Rose Church; in 1981 Bishop Paul Waldschmidt helped the Archdiocese acquire a former Sisters of the Holy Child property, founding the Southeast Asian Vicariate. The Archdiocese formally established Our Lady of La Vang Parish by resolution of the Presbyteral Council on January 25, 2001, and in 2020 — during the COVID-19 pandemic — purchased the former New Hope Community Church property in Happy Valley to serve the more than 5,000-strong congregation and its mission chapels.

Infant and child baptisms are normally celebrated during the 9:00 AM Mass on the second Sunday of each month, integrating the new member into the Vietnamese-language worshipping community. Faith Formation & Youth Ministry
Faith formation for the next generation runs in Vietnamese on Sundays. The Trường Giáo Lý Việt Ngữ provides catechesis in Vietnamese for the parish's children and teens, while the Đoàn Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể CN is the Eucharistic Youth (Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể) chapter, with separate time for huynh trưởng (leaders) and for the general group. The regular Sunday 11:30 AM Mass is designated as the parish 'Giới Trẻ' (Youth Mass).

Pastoral Care of the Sick
Lay ministers and the deacon coordinate the parish's outreach to homebound and sick parishioners, including scheduled visits, regular reception of Holy Communion, and Anointing of the Sick. Religious and Community Life
The mission is served by the Lovers of the Holy Cross Sisters of Beaverton (Dòng Mến Thánh Giá), a Vietnamese-origin congregation of religious sisters whose local contact is Sr. Ngoan Nguyen (503-888-4227). The mission also administers a community-service scholarship for graduating students — applications are posted to anredl.org — and participates in the broader Vicariate's annual Pilgrimage Honoring Our Lady of Lavang, a three-day event each summer in which young girls of the Aloha mission traditionally perform a Marian dance before Mass.
