St. Andrew Catholic Church is a large Roman Catholic parish located at 2628 Del Prado Boulevard South in Cape Coral, Florida, in the Diocese of Venice (Central Deanery). The parish was established as a mission in 1964 and elevated to parish status on August 21, 1965, growing over six decades into one of the largest parishes in Southwest Florida. Parish History
St. Andrew's story begins on August 19, 1962, when the first public Mass was celebrated at the Yacht Club Teen Center in Cape Coral under Monsignor Joseph DeVaney. The mission was formally established on June 4, 1964, under Fr. Esteban Soy, and elevated to a parish on August 21, 1965. Over six decades the community has grown from a small mission into one of the largest parishes in Southwest Florida, building its present church in 1983 and its parish school in 1989.

St. Andrew Catholic School
St. Andrew Catholic School has served Cape Coral families since 1989, when it opened under founding pastor Fr. Timothy Murphy with 80 students in kindergarten through third grade. Originally staffed by the Sisters of the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation of the Most Holy Rosary, the school today serves pre-kindergarten through 8th grade with a STREAM curriculum that integrates Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math, and a mission centered on building Faith, Hearts, and Minds. The school's current administrator is Mrs. Bambi (per Diocese of Venice directory).

Faith Formation & Religious Education
