History of St. Andrew and the All Saints Merger

St. Andrew Parish in Center Township was created in 1964 and its church was dedicated on November 26, 1967, to serve the growing north side of Butler. Following Bishop David Zubik's 2018 strategic-planning initiative 'On Mission for the Church Alive!' the parish was grouped with St. Paul, St. Peter, St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen (later renamed St. Conrad), and St. Michael the Archangel; the five were merged on July 1, 2021, into the new All Saints Parish. No church buildings closed in the merger, and each retains its name and identity as a worship site.
