History
Founded in 1972, St. Agnes grew out of the Diocese of Grand Rapids' effort to serve rural Osceola County alongside the older parishes at Evart and Reed City. Over the decades the three communities were grouped as a pastoral cluster sharing one priest. In the Diocese's 2025 'Rooted in Christ' pastoral plan, Bishop David J. Walkowiak's office formally reaffirmed the cluster's continuation, with a direction to expand faith formation across all ages and to strengthen collaboration within the deanery.

St. Agnes is pastored by Rev. David A. Jameson, who serves the three-parish Sacred Heart / St. Agnes / St. Philip Neri cluster. Father Jameson was ordained to the priesthood on June 4, 2022, by Bishop Walkowiak at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids. He first served as parochial vicar at the Parish of the Holy Spirit in Grand Rapids before being appointed Canonical Administrator of the cluster in 2022 and then Pastor in February 2024.
