History
St. Agnes Parish grew from pre-Civil War Catholic settlements in Wabasha County. After years of traveling to Wabasha or Highland Township for Mass, Kellogg Catholics built their own church, which Bishop Joseph Cotter dedicated on December 4, 1900. The parish became independent of St. Felix in 1908 with the arrival of Fr. James Culliton.
Worship & Sacraments
St. Agnes celebrates Sunday Mass at 8:00 AM and Wednesday Mass at 8:00 AM. Reconciliation is offered on Saturdays at St. Felix and on Sunday mornings at St. Agnes before Mass; the pastor is also available by appointment. The parish provides preparation for Baptism, Marriage, and RCIA, and Communion visits for the sick and homebound.
Ministries & Life
Faith formation, youth ministry, liturgical ministries, and the Knights of Columbus support parish life. St. Agnes also maintains its own cemetery and shares a Catholic school and parish staff with St. Felix in Wabasha.
