Parish History
Founded in 1963, the parish celebrated its 10th anniversary in 1973 alongside Bishop Cosgrove and priests who had served the early community. Over the decades it has grown into a stable suburban parish served by a succession of pastors whose tenures are documented in diocesan news. In 2020, parishioners came together to build the parish's Marian grotto, a tangible sign of the parish's lay-led culture.

The parish is led by Father Matthew M. Cortnik, installed as pastor on October 2, 2024 by Bishop Edward Malesic after serving as parish administrator for 15 months. Faith Formation and Youth Ministry
The parish runs an active faith formation program for children and youth, supplemented by summer programs. Mission Mondays is a teen service camp held on Mondays in June, with discounted multi-day pricing. Vacation Bible School runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with teens in grades 6–12 invited to serve as leaders.

Parish Life and Events

The Marian Grotto
In 2020 the parish dedicated a new Marian grotto devoted to Our Lady of Grace — the newest addition to the parish grounds. Father Michael Stalla led the project, which involved roughly 65 volunteer parishioners from groundbreaking on August 15, 2020 (the feast of the Assumption) to dedication by Bishop Edward Malesic on the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Funding came in part from the sale of memorial raffle tickets, and even neighbors and non-Catholics joined in the construction effort.

Sacraments
The parish celebrates the sacraments in the ordinary life of the parish. In addition to daily Mass, confession, and perpetual adoration, arrangements for Baptism, Marriage preparation, Anointing of the Sick, and other sacraments can be made by contacting the parish office.
