Sacramental Preparation

Santa Clara prepares the faithful for the three Sacraments of Christian initiation and the special Marian devotion of the Quinceañera. Baptism and the Pre-Baptismal Class are scheduled monthly, while Marriage and Quinceañera are arranged personally with the pastor.

Sacrament of Baptism

Baptisms at Santa Clara are celebrated on the first Saturday of each month. Parents are expected to attend the Pre-Baptismal Class held on the first Sunday at 1:00 PM as part of preparation. The schedule is published in the parish bulletin and on the website under 'Sacrament of Baptism.'

  • Baptism: every first Saturday of the month
  • Pre-Baptismal Class: every first Sunday, 1:00 PM

Sacrament of Matrimony

Couples desiring to be married at Santa Clara are asked to contact the pastor directly. Because Santa Clara is a mission, weddings are typically coordinated together with Transfiguration of Jesus in Wallace, and couples should begin conversations well in advance of the desired date.

  • Contact the pastor (Fr. Randy Gonzales, C.I.C.M.) for Matrimony information

Quinceañera

Santa Clara has a special pastoral interest in celebrating Quinceañeras, a thanksgiving to God for the gift of life typically marked on a young Catholic woman's 15th birthday. Because the mission celebrates only two Masses a week, families are asked to make an appointment with the pastor one full year in advance before booking any reception venue or other arrangements.

  • Contact the pastor 1 year in advance
  • Celebrated within the Sunday 1:00 PM or Wednesday 7:00 PM Mass (per parish schedule)

Faith Formation & Religious Education

The parish offers Faith Formation classes for children and youth, with registration during the whole month specified in the current year schedule (the website shows it as 'Faith Formation Registration — whole month of [starting month]'). Sessions are held 'every 2' (likely every two weeks per the published bulletin schedule). Families can inquire through the Wednesday parish office hours.

  • Faith Formation Classes offered
  • Faith Formation Registration open the whole month of [posted starting month]
  • Sessions meet every two weeks (per current bulletin)
  • Confirmation preparation and Sacramental Preparation linked to Faith Formation cycles
