San Luis Rey Quasi-Parish — Overview

San Luis Rey is a small Roman Catholic quasi-parish in the village of Chamberino, Doña Ana County, southern New Mexico. Good Friday Passion Play and Stations of the Cross

San Luis Rey's most distinctive devotional tradition is its annual Good Friday Stations of the Cross and Passion Play, in which parishioners and actors walk through the streets of Chamberino re-enacting the trial, the carrying of the cross, and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
