Sacraments

Religious Education (CCD) and RCIA
Catechism classes are offered to all parishioners for children in grades K through 7. Classes meet Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the parish school building in Clovis. First Confession and First Holy Communion are received in the same year, in a two-year program starting in second grade; the children normally receive those sacraments in third grade. Registrations close after July 31. RCIA forms inquiry for adults — anyone interested in becoming Christian, completing their sacraments of initiation, or simply learning about the Catholic faith is invited to register.

Confirmation and Youth Ministry
Confirmation is a two-year program for high-school students (grades 8-12) who have not yet received it. Classes are held Sundays, 3:00-4:30 PM, with a break over summer and holidays. There is an opening orientation each year for both confirmandi and parents. Confirmation registrations close after July 31. The OLG Youth Group invites any young adult in grades 8-12 to continue growing in faith, build strong friendships, and become better disciples; it meets Sundays 2:00-4:00 PM in the church basement, beginning in August.
