Stained-Glass Windows & Centennial
The church's 38 stained-glass windows were crafted by artists at the Munich Studios of Chicago, Illinois, and are considered a remarkable artistic legacy of the founding families. After nearly a century of Oklahoma weather, the parish launched a $144,000 restoration campaign ahead of its 2023 centennial. The Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma partnered with the Bobby Dean Little Trust to award a Pastoral Music and Fine Arts Grant of $28,652, and Associated Crafts ultimately completed the restoration at a final cost of nearly $160,000. Inspectors noted that the artistry and skill used to create the windows is rare, and the restored set now shines for the Jubilee celebration.
Mt. Carmel / St. Rose Cemetery
Adjacent to the parish is Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, also referred to as St. Rose Cemetery. The St. Rose Perpetual Care Fund, established in 1969, continues to operate and provides ongoing care for the cemetery.
