Faith Formation & Religious Education (CCD)
The parish runs a CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) program for grades K–8 with on-site coordinators at each worship site. Following a period of mailed-home lessons, the Diocese of Pittsburgh now requires onsite in-person lessons, scheduled by grade band. The program also uses the 'Empowering God's Children' safety curriculum (Virtus) and supports sacramental preparation for First Communion and Confirmation.

The Preschool at St. Ann
The Preschool at St. Ann is the parish's early-childhood program, currently accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year. Families can download an application form from the parish website and mail it with the fee to the St. Ann Office.

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry Team at St. Matthias Parish coordinates liturgical music across all four worship sites and is currently seeking support to purchase new instruments for the parish's musical program.

Sacraments

Mission Trip & Parish Life
The parish promotes a hands-on Mission Trip inviting parishioners to 'experience what it is like to be a missionary for the Gospel of Jesus,' combining service, spiritual growth, and community. The Bobtown Senior Center also meets at St. Ignatius, making the church a hub for both spiritual and civic life in the village.
