History

Saint Mary Magdalen Parish was established in 1993 as a new parish in the Diocese of Lansing. Its church building was constructed in 1997–1998. Stained-glass windows including a pictorial window of Mary Magdalene were catalogued in the Michigan Stained Glass Census (MSGC 2000.0021, surveyed 1996) by Census Coordinator Deacon H. David Scharf. The parish has grown continuously since founding, developing worship, formation, and outreach programs documented in its weekly bulletin.

Mass & Worship Schedule

Saint Mary Magdalen celebrates Mass seven days a week, with two Sunday Masses (9:00 AM and 11:00 AM) and a Saturday Vigil Mass at 4:30 PM. Weekday Mass is offered Tuesday through Friday at 9:00 AM. Magdalen's Preschool

Located on the Saint Mary Magdalen parish campus at 2201 S. Old US 23 Highway, Magdalen's Preschool is a Catholic preschool program for 3-, 4-, and early-5-year-olds. Operated as part of the Diocese of Lansing's Catholic schools, it offers a Christian education in a warm, caring environment, supporting children's spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth as preparation for future schooling.
