About Us

St. Marianne Cope Parish is a Roman Catholic community in East Windsor, Connecticut, dedicated to evangelizing the Good News of Jesus Christ through worship, faith formation, and discipleship. The parish includes St. Catherine of Siena Church (founded 1887) and St. Philip Church (founded 1926).

History

St. Catherine of Siena Church was established in 1887 and underwent renovations in 1957 and the 1970s. St. Philip Church was founded in 1926 by Polish immigrants under the leadership of Rev. John Kondziolka. The parish is named after St. Marianne Cope, a 19th-century Franciscan sister known for her compassion and service.
